Who Must Supply Safety Equipment?

The OH&S Act does not say an employer must supply safety equipment. Some employers supply safety equipment and some do not. Sometimes the Ministry of Labour orders a certain employer to provide safety equipment if the danger is greater enough.

职业健康及安全条例没有指明雇主必须提供安全设备。有些雇主会提供安全设备而有些不会。如果危险程度足够大的时候，有时劳工部会命令某个雇主提供安全设备。(续完)
